When:

September 22, 2018, 9am-3pm

Where:

Jefferson County Fairgrounds (430 SW Fairgrounds Road Madras, Oregon 97741)

Why:

22 veterans and active duty service members give up on life each day and the impact on their families, their service brothers and sisters and their community is devastating. This expo is an opportunity for community members and service providers who support veterans and active duty service members to address the “why” of Military suicide here in Central Oregon and what we can do as a whole to end suicide.  It is this partnership that will keep more of our veterans and active duty service members alive and keep their families from suffering such an incredible loss.

Breakfast and lunch will be served at no cost to Veterans and a donation is requested but not required for all others.

**NEEDS**

Military boots of any kind donated to the Veterans Service Office and will be used and placed at the entrance of the event to represent the many veterans and active duty military service members who have passed away due to suicide.
