The holiday season can be difficult for anyone, but it can be especially trying for Veterans who are alone, for families with children who are struggling financially, as well as our senior Veterans and homeless population. As in past years, the community was so very good to COVO clients this holiday season. From donation drives by local agencies, to individuals walking in with a check or donation, our coffers began to fill right after Thanksgiving and continued throughout December. Using the generous donations from our community, we supplied or coordinated everything from gifts for children, to food baskets delivered to our homebound Vets, to warm clothing and supplies to those living in camps. We even had over 15 clients receive a fresh-cut Christmas tree to help the holiday feel complete! The holidays are definitely the most hectic – and yet the most rewarding – time of the year to be a part of COVO. Happy New Year and THANK YOU from the bottom of our collective COVO heart.   [give_form id=”1543″ show_content=”above” display_style=”button” continue_button_title=”Donate now – Make 2019 even better!”]
