The Veteran’s Stand Down in Central Oregon is typically a one-day event connecting supplies and services with homeless Veterans.

COVO, in conjunction with other local agencies, helps provide direct access to clothing and outdoor gear along with access to federal and state programs such as VA Social Security benefits counseling. Veterans can also receive referrals to other assistance programs such as health care, housing solutions, employment, substance use treatment and mental health counseling. These collaborative events, are held on a semi-annual basis.
