Supportive Services for Veterans and their Families
SSVF is a veteran-led, goal-oriented, housing assistance program designed to help Veterans achieve housing stability.
The SSVF Program is geared towards Veterans who are experiencing homelessness or are at imminent risk of losing housing. SSVF believes that many paths lead to housing instability; because of this, SSVF tries to provide wrap-around services to the Veteran. These services include case management, health care navigation, advocacy, and temporary financial assistance. COVO’s SSVF team helps Veterans in the tri-county area; however, SSVF is a federal grant awarded to many grantees throughout the United States. Alongside other SSVF grantees and local community resources, COVO’s SSVF team echoes the VA mission to end Veteran homelessness.
